Coming in Rogō 7.1

Rogō 7.1 is due in Q1 of 2020 here is what you can expect:

Successive elimination

A new question type.

This question type addresses two problems:

  • MCQs are difficult to write

  • Candidates can gain mark by guessing (Guessing can be eliminated by negative marking and setting a threshold for 'monkey marking'. But these too bring their own problems).

Elimination Testing allows students to demonstrate partial knowledge without being deterred by the prospect of negative marking.

Paper creation

Print hard copies without notes

Ability to print the paper without notes showing can make it easier to run offline exams, as the notes are often used by staff.

Copy standard setting with question

Ability to copy the standards setting data when doing a whole paper copy.

Student cohort

Its back. Ability to view the student cohort for an individual paper (not the module).

Question search

By ID

Ability to search by the question ID.

By correct answer

Identify questions that have correct answers assigned to them (multiple choice for example), or ones that haven't had a correct answer assigned yet, to make it easier to see which questions need attention.

By Feedback

Ability to optionally search the question feedback fields when searching for a question.

Frequnecy discrimination report

Display unanswered questions on F&D report, distinct from abstentions. This adds a new X stat, along with t/u/l stats, which shows the number of students (and percentage out of the total number that took the exam) that did not answer a qustion.

Textbox questions

Display scenario once if common between questions

A common scenario is often used for several questions in a row. This allows it to be shown just once for a series, providing it is on the same screen.

Default editor configuration

Ability to set you institutions default editor type for students answering textbox questions.
