Information Block

Description

Presents a block of text/graphics on screens to assist uses in answer the assessment/questions.

Rationale

There are times when staff wish to include text as 'signposting' which is not to be actually answered. This could be detailed clinical information which will form the background to questions listed below. This is especially useful when dealing with linear papers where you could, for example, use the same Information Block on multiple screens.

Fit Criterion

Presentation

  • Information blocks do not have question numbers.
  • When used in an assessment paper they simply output the text/graphics they contain. There are no interactive elements.
  • No calculator is included next to information blocks.
