Ranking Specification
Purpose
Ranking questions require that the candidate places a number of options into a specified order.
Pre-Exam
Ranking questions support the standard preamble/postamble. You may supply any number of options to be ranked: there are six as standard.
You may also opt to display the rankings as entered or randomly shuffled. You then select the real order of the options.
During the Exam
Students use the dropdowns to place the displayed options in order:
Post Exam
Depending upon the marking scheme used, marks can be awarded for each answer in the correct order, or for getting all answers in the correct order. If the latter option is chosen, no marks will be awarded if any answer is in the wrong order.
