Set Killer Questions

Purpose

'Killer questions' must be answered correctly on an OSCE Station. If the candidate gets a mark of 0 for the question, they fail the exam.  They can get a 1 on the question and still pass.

Function

To set a killer question, open an OSCE exam and look for the Set Killer Question link in the sidebar (flagged with )  .  Select a question and click the link:  this will toggle killer question status.

 

The OSCE Mark Sheet records fails on killer questions and backgrounds them black.

Warning

The marker can tell whether this is a killer question.  This may lead the marker to be more lenient in marking.
