Paper Reports

Purpose

Enables detailed reporting on papers and paper results.

Reporting focuses on:

  • Reviews
  • Item Analysis
  • Cohort Reports
  • Exports

All paper reports require that you have a paper selected first.

Basic Filtering

Clicking on the Reports link displays a filter screen.  The red rectangle is added to emphasise the filter controls.

Dates

Selects the beginning and end date ranges for which you want to report on the paper.

Course

Restricts reporting to the subset of students taking a specific course associated with the examination.  Defaults to <Any Course>.

Module

Restricts reporting to the subset of students taking a specific module associated with the examination.  Defaults to <Any Module>.

Cohort

Use this to select the top or bottom range of candidates.  Defaults to <All Candidates>, but you may select a percentage.  Typically used with Frequency and Discrimination Analysis reports.

Inc. absent candidates (default no)/ Student attempts only (default yes)

Restricts reporting to those candidates which have (a) turned up to the examination and (b) those questions actually attempted.  Setting these defaults to yes and no respectively defaults on all candidates and all questions, regardless of whether they were attempted.
